Take a ride on a historic carousel, learn all about the history of this beloved pastime and indulge your inner child at this unique Ohio attraction. The isn’t your average museum—and that’s what makes it so fun.
Since the early 90s, this whimsical museum has enchanted locals and visitors alike. There's no other place in the state quite like The Merry Go-Round Museum.
You'll find it at 301 Jackson St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
Featuring an impressive collection of carousel pieces, the museum actively restores antique carousel figures and other items. It's a place where history comes back to life.
Today, there are only about 200 original wooden carousels in operation in America.
