I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
There’s something about dinosaurs that’s undeniably compelling and fascinating. These prehistoric creatures harken back to a time that’s almost unbelievable, when you really think about it. Having kids has definitely made me a more curious adult; kids ask questions and probe at things that grown ups take for granted. Like, for instance, the existence of dinosaurs. All of this is to say that, when I heard about the arrival of dinosaurs at Krohn Conservatory, one of my favorite places in Ohio, I eagerly loaded up the crew for a prehistoric adventure.
First Flowers featuring Dinosaurs runs through Oct. 22, 2023, at Krohn Conservatory. Visit the website for admission rates, hours, and other information.
After you’ve visited the dinosaurs at Krohn Conservatory, head over to Trammel Fossil Park where you can dig for fossils… and take them home! Just don’t forget to bring sunscreen and a shovel.
