With tickets selling out fast and schedules filling up quickly, you’ll want to start planning your Ohio holiday adventures now. There’s a little-known Christmas train in Wellington, Ohio that’s the perfect way to get into the spirit of the season.

This holiday season, consider boarding the Lorain and West Virginia Railway's Santa Train. Sip hot chocolate, enjoy the scenic countryside and even meet Santa himself.

The station is located at 46485 State Route 18, Wellington, OH 44090.
Starting November 23 until December 8, the Santa Train will run each Friday and Saturday. There is also a Sunday train on November 25.

On Fridays (Nov.23, Nov 30, and Dec. 7) trains will depart at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. On Saturdays (Nov. 24, Dec. 1, and Dec. 8) trains will depart at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4,p.m. 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. The Sunday train will depart at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
