There’s so much to love about The Buckeye State, but one of its most surprising qualities is its abundance of local race tracks. Our state is dotted with impressive tracks tucked amidst the loveliest landscapes, but one of the coolest is Nelson Ledges Road Course. Located about an hour away from Cleveland in Garrettsville, this generations-old track is slated as this year’s Xtreme Xperience. Have you ever wanted to drive a few luxury cars near Cleveland? Mark your calendar and get ready to hit the road and set out for adventure… this is one event you won’t want to miss.
Buckle up, Ohio, because there's an event coming to Nelson Ledges Race Course this summer that's almost too hot to handle.
At just under an hour away from Cleveland, this Portage County race track isn't a bad trek from home. And, admittedly, it's well worth it. At two miles long, this paved track has been around for decades. However, it's gotten something of a face lift in recent years and is better than ever.
Ever imagined yourself behind the wheel of a Lamborghini, Ferrari, or other exotic supercar? At Xtreme Xperience, you can.
This traveling event visits different cities in the United States, offering locals the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an exotic 400+ horsepower luxury car. The event is scheduled for June -- check out their website for specific dates and updates!

Since it was founded in 2012, over 200,000 people have driven the car of their dreams at a local track.
If you're nervous about driving such a fancy car, you shouldn't be! Your ticket price includes a safety course, a precaution that ensures you will feel comfortable and confident while driving.

Drivers get to enjoy three to four laps in each car, and they'll be accompanied by a professional driving instructor throughout the experience.
You'll also need a valid driver's license or Military ID to get behind the wheel. Unfortunately, the cars do have height restrictions due to their design, so be sure to read through the FAQ page to ensure you aren't too tall to ride. Refunds won't be provided if you are too tall, so definitely double check on restrictions if you are taller than 6’3".
Budget at least 90 minutes or two hours for your visit, although you can plan to stay as long as you want.
Spend all day admiring the cars you adore and envy, or just enjoy a quick ride along before you head out. It's up to you!
