Apple pie may be an all-American delicacy, but nobody bakes it quite like Midwesterners. Though we’re just on the edge of the Midwest, local apple pies are still baked up with love. They’re also overflowing with flavor, but the absolute yummiest pies come from the kitchen of an apple orchard near Cleveland.
This gorgeous orchard, located at 294 Pearl Rd., has delighted generations of fruit lovers. The farm was first settled by the Tillotson family in the early 1800s, but it wouldn't become an orchard until the family sold it in 1927.
As you may imagine, the delectable goodies at Mapleside feature oodles of apples, from slushies to barbecue sauce.
