Cleveland and its surrounding suburbs are full of such energetic streets that are pedestrian-friendly and make for some truly unforgettable outings.
Detroit Shoreway is an up-and-coming neighborhood that's famous for its incredibly walkable atmosphere. With plenty of public parking and lots to do, this artsy neighborhood is perfect for an afternoon visit or for lifetime residency. Here you'll find galleries like 1point618, charming shops like Turnstyle Boutique, and quirky eateries like The Happy Dog. In the warmer months, festivities spill into the streets in ways locals find irresistible.
In the heart of Downtown Cleveland is one lively street that's consistently energetic. Complete with epic dining opportunities, entertainment, shopping, and festivities, this little stretch is unlike any other street in the world. Summertime brings live music on the patios and brilliant neon illumination. You never know who you'll encounter in the area, as it is frequented by celebrities and locals alike. There's nothing quite like traveling through Tremont on foot. This vibrant neighborhood is an artist's dream come true, and its collection of businesses and dining destinations reflect the neighborhood's creative spirit. The impressive Dendrite Statue marks the entryway to this street, and along its expanse you'll find eateries like Ushabu, Tony's Southside Pizza, and CODA. You can experience acupuncture here or swing by the Tremont General Store. The street offers views of the heavenly St.John Cantius Church, and a collection of lovely trees offers an earthy contrast to this colorful community.

We're going to journey down the Ohio City portion of Lorain Avenue in this section of our journey through Cleveland's friendliest streets. Ohio City is a neighborhood complete with a little bit of everything from parks to breweries. On Lorain, you'll find the iconic West Side Market, Platform Beer Co., vintage shops, and diners that offer upscale meals or familiar dishes like Corned Beef. Market Square Park is just a stone's throw away, and lovely green spaces like the Monroe Street Cemetery are also within walking distance. West 25th Street cuts across Lorain right beside the West Side Market, offering an additional avenue to explore.
Little Italy is a gorgeous neighborhood in Cleveland that's overflowing with cultural gems, particularly along the stretch of Mayfield. This was an active area during Prohibition, resulting in the formation of gangs like the Mayfield Road Mob.
