There’s a lot that can be learned from history. In fact, as some may even argue, what can’t we learn from history? Parts of history are largely a mystery, as our written record only spans back so far. Before the era of human documentation, ancient creatures preserved their legacy through remnants of footprints, nests, and even fossilized remains. There’s a lot that can be learned from studying fossils, but that’s something paleontologists do… right? We certainly can’t get that close to ancient remnants of the past… or can we?
Are you ready to head back in time? There's one museum in the nearby town of Copley that will take you on an adventure.
You'll have the opportunity to hold and touch real fossils, make and interact with life-size replicas, and explore its animal menagerie during your visit.

When you embark on the Fossil Fun Tour, you'll notice that the fossils aren't in cases... you can actually touch them!
The Creation Education Museum compares and contrasts scientific evidence with Abrahamic history. It provides a unique way to consider historical events documented in religious texts within a larger context. Rather than challenging individual beliefs, it encourages free thought by examining history from different perspectives to understand how humans have interpreted the world around us.
Admission to the Akron Fossils & Science Center also includes one free ride on the 200-foot-long, on-site zip line ride for eligible riders!
