Do you ever feel like you’ve lived in one place so long that you’ve already done it all? You’ve been to every notable restaurant, every cool museum, every unique local business… honestly, it’s easy to feel like you’ve done everything your community has to offer when you’ve lived there for so long. However, here in Northeast Ohio, there’s endless opportunity for adventure, and there’s something new and exciting hiding around every turn. Today, we’re going to take a virtual visit to something many Clevelanders still have yet to experience. Since June 2020, there has been an unexpected sight on the Cuyahoga River: a floating tiki bar in Cleveland. This one-of-a-kind experience offers the most unique way to see the city, and it’s perfect for those who like to soak up the sun and go with the flow.
There's nothing that quite compares to adventuring at dusk or dawn on Cleveland's waterways...
With Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River carving away at its shores, Cleveland has a nautical culture that might surprise out-of-towners. What's even more surprising to some is the beauty of a good Lake Erie sunset!
...But the CLE Tiki Barge truly makes every moment magical.
This cool concept, which opened in June of 2020, is gaining a lot of attention. The CLE Tiki Barge combines the traditional vibes of a good tiki bar with a fun water excursion experience.

The CLE Tiki Barge I and Tiki Barge II have one mission: to provide you with excellent views of the Cleveland coast and a cozy, private place to have a good time.
This cool cruise takes participants along the Cuyahoga River and Inner Harbor for two full hours of fun. It has two party boats to accommodate demand. All you have to do is bring along drinks and decide what kind of music you want to listen to!

Each two-hour cruise is BYOB, and it can include up to 30 guests.
Pricing varies depending on party size, but both the original boat and the Big Kahuna have ice coolers to keep your beverages cold, a bathroom on board for your convenience, and an experienced Captain and First Mate that are ready to help you get your party on.
The barge features plenty of places to chill, from comfortable benches to standing high-top tables.
You'll feel like you're sailing along the coast of a tropical island as you relax under a thatched roof. Combined with stunning views of the city, this open-air floating tiki bar in Cleveland truly provides an experience like no other.
Remember to wear (and bring extra) sunscreen! Even on cloudy days, you can get a sunburn when you're on the Cuyahoga's or Lake Erie's reflective waters.
The CLE Tiki Barge is perfect for family get-togethers, corporate events, birthday parties, or just to catch up with friends.
It also makes for a unique gift! You can purchase gift cards to help fund a party or cover the event costs for a loved one. Do mom and dad have an anniversary coming up? Help them celebrate it tropical-style!
...But special events like bachelorette and bachelor parties are particularly memorable here.
This floating bar offers an awesome way to enjoy the Cleveland summer. Even on rainy days, this experience is unforgettable (although the boat may be delayed or rescheduled if the weather is severe).
All aboard! You can find this Cleveland tiki bar docked at 1180 Main Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113.
