If there’s one thing locals love, it’s venturing into the farmland outside of Cleveland. When you grow up in such a busy city, an escape to the countryside is pure bliss. Plus, spotting animals like cows and sheep grazing in local fields is a delight for the heart. You’ll find a particularly unique herd at one alpaca farm near Cleveland. Their resident farm animals and boutique will wow you, and their cozy clothing and accessories will prep you for Ohio’s colder months.
One of the coziest day trip destinations can be found south of Cleveland in a quaint Medina County barn.
The Alpaca Boutique on Majestic Meadows Alpacas' farm features 1,300 square feet and two stories of luxurious locally- and globally-sourced alpaca products.
Award-winning alpacas are raised right on the farm, and they are oh-so friendly. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, and visitors frequently comment that they've never seen such a well-kept farm.

The on-site shop offers an incredible place to stock up on unique gifts — after all, it is the only store of its kind in Northeast Ohio.
During your visit, you'll want to pick up some food in the gift shop to share with the friendly animals. Visiting one of the premier alpaca breeding herds in the nation is a humbling experience, and you're sure to fall in love with the animals you encounter.
If the critters are out and about on the farm, you might want to stop by to say hello.
Most of the resident animals can be fed or pet, which is particularly exciting for children. They're just as friendly as the on-site staff, and these cuties absolutely adore visitors.
