As the dog days of summer subside and fade into a mere memory, the season can feel like it’s drawing to a close. Alas, Mother Nature still has one summer surprise following the hottest days of the season: sunflowers. In the final weeks of summer, these all-American flowers burst into brilliant blooms, taking over fields and adding a pleasant hint of yellow to residential yards. One of the most incredible sunflower festivals in Ohio takes place in Wooster, which is just about an hour away from Cleveland… perfect for an end-of-summer road trip! Are you ready to celebrate the season surrounded by one of its loveliest flowers?
