One of the most remarkable features of summertime is actually something that doesn’t happen until the latter half of the season. Fortunately, we’re approaching that special time of year, the magical portion where sunflowers begin presenting their petals to the sun. This year we’re going to take a sunflower-themed road trip to a nearby winery, and the splendor therein is bound to leave you speechless.
Let's take a trip to Maize Valley; a winery, brewery, and marketplace hiding about an hour outside of Cleveland.
It seems there is always something going on at Maize Valley, but there's a particularly fantastic event that takes place in the late summer and early fall months.
The market will feature locals vendors offering a variety of baked, handmade, and homegrown goods. And parking is free!

The highlight of the event will be wagon rides to the sunflower field, access to paths in the field, photo opportunities, and pick-your-own sunflowers.
