There’s something undeniably magical about quaint, sleepy towns covered in a blanket of snowfall. Here in Northeast Ohio, one of the most magical towns to visit at Christmastime is Chagrin Falls. Winter in Chagrin Falls is always romantic, and there’s a reason why families from all over come to the town each year. There’s much to see and do, but sometimes, admiring the beauty of the town is enough. Take a look:
While perhaps best known for spearheading the creation of Rosie the Riveter, Norman Rockwell is also known for his yuletide doodles... which perfectly capture the feel of one Greater Cleveland community.
Rockwell's sentimentalized depictions of Christmastime evoke a variety of warm emotions in viewers. They feel like a welcoming hug, like hot cocoa and warm lights... and a bit like the vibe that Chagrin Falls gives off.
Welcome to Chagrin Falls, a Cuyahoga County town of just over 4,000 residents.
Like Rockwell's paintings, Chagrin Falls is a bit of a sentimental little town. It feels historic and welcoming... a bit like Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland.

With a revitalized downtown, this pretty city is well worth exploring. Of course, you'll want to bundle up... it's close enough to the primary snow belt to get a decent covering each year!
And during holiday celebrations, it looks a bit like a real-life model train town.
If you're hoping for old-fashioned holiday vibes, you'll find them in abundance here. Bring the camera if you're looking for the perfect family photos, because this town has all sorts of picture-perfect scenes!
The Chagrin Falls waterfall, known as High Falls, is truly the reason why this community prospered in its early days. It fueled early sawmills, paper mills, and flour mills, ultimately allowing the surrounding settlement to grow.
The Festival of Trees operates each year from late November to early January. As it's nestled alongside Riverside Park, you'll be able to take in the beauty of this peaceful community as you admire the splendor of dozens of decorated trees.
