One purported ghostly visitor has a particular eye for beauty, so its no wonder that he’d want to swing by Cleveland.

William Mathewson Milliken, one of the museum's directors and longtime supporters, has purportedly wandered the halls since his passing in 1978. the famous painting, Portrait of Jean-Gabriel du Theil at the Signing of the Treaty of Vienna, has purportedly been observed by Jean-Gabriel du Theil himself, and other unexplained occurrences frequently take place at the museum.
