Is anything more comforting in the winter than… well, comfort food? Ramen is a go-to comfort for many people, especially as temperatures begin to drop. This Japanese dish has enjoyed particular popularity since instant noodles were invented, although foodies know that nothing beats a thoughtfully prepared and fresh ramen dish. Fortunately, one of the best places to find ramen in Cleveland is centrally located in Ohio City, so there are plenty of opportunities to stock up on this delicious dish.
Mason's Creamery is one of the area's favorite walk-up ice cream shops.
Mason’s Creamery has gained attention and praise for their delicious seasonal flavors. Their delicious offerings are made in small batches, so everything is always tantalizingly fresh.
However, Mason's don’t just serve their iconic ice cream in the winter…
Like many local ice cream shops, Mason’s shifts the focus away from ice cream during the colder months. While they continue to offer soft serve (unlike other local ice cream shops that shut down altogether), they also offer a different approach to indulgent snacking as the temperature begins to drop.

In recent years, Mason’s Creamery has opened around early December as a ramen shop!
The owners started out doing pop-up ramen events and Clevelanders were so passionate and excited about the experience that Mason’s Creamery transformed their walk-up ice cream stand into an intimate noodle bar.

The ramen at Mason’s is downright gourmet, featuring both noodles and other delectable ingredients.
This is not your traditional instant noodle meal. This is a real meal. Diners will enjoy accouterments like soy-marinated eggs, black garlic oil, and mushrooms.
Options like pork tonkotsu, chicken, and vegetarian mushroom broths ensure each and every person can indulge. Vegan diets can be accommodated by simply ordering a vegetarian meal without the egg. Gluten-free noodles are also offered!
Bubble teas are also available, which pair perfectly with the handcrafted ramen dishes.
