You know those days where you just feel like a million bucks? They may be rare, but every so often, we look in the mirror and actually like the way we look. On such days, it’s only right to treat yourself! When Clevelanders feel like a million bucks, we head straight to the bank for a bite to eat. Yes, you read that right. Tonight, we’re dining in the lavish marble remnants of a former bank, and the food is simply to die for.
In 1898, Clevelanders were first introduced to the luxurious Garfield Building.
This magnificent building, located at 623 Euclid Ave., was constructed by the children of James A. Garfield in honor of the late president. They joined forces with Henry Ives Cobb to bring the 13-story building to life. In 1921, National City Bank moved into the Garfield Building and operated there until 2008.
These days, when you walk through the doors, you’ll discover the mouthwatering Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar.
Though the bank has been gone for a decade, you can still see the grandeur of its rich presence etched in the surroundings. Modern design elements are effortlessly combined with the rich, antique atmosphere, creating a chic ambiance that enhances the flavors of your meal.

Many of the old vaults, which were once some of the largest and most impressive in the nation, are now private dining areas...
While the aptly-named Marble Room is covered in gorgeous stone, you'll also find carpeting, acoustic panels, and fabrics that create contrast with their soft features.
For a decadent twist on a familiar dish, try the Truffle Mac & Cheese. Your taste buds will thank you.
Stop by Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar on Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
One bank in Cleveland has taken on a new life, and locals have been hooked since it opened in 2017. Whether you’re going to treat yourself, treat a date, or celebrate a special occasion, this incredible restaurant offers the ideal experience. What are you most looking forward to trying?
