The upcoming Mac 'N Cheese Throwdown combines mac and cheese, booze, music, and other incredible festivities in one of Cleveland's most recognizable landmarks.
The event takes place on Saturday, February 23 from noon to 3:30 p.m. at Public Hall, which will be transformed as local restaurants fill its rooms and corridors with an irresistible aroma as they compete for the honor of being recognized for creating the region's best mac and cheese recipe.

The unique event will put 30 of your favorite restaurants head-to-head in an intense battle to claim the title of People's Choice Mac 'N Cheese, as well as awards in categories like Classic Mac and Modern Mac.
In 2018, the People’s Choice winner was Metropolitan at the 9, the Classic Mac champion was Luxe Kitchen + Lounge, and the away for Modern Mac also went to Metropolitan at the 9. This year, the competition is fiercer than ever.

General admission to the Mac 'N Cheese Throwdown includes samples of all 30 mac and cheese recipes, plus two non-boozy drinks.
While traditional mac and cheese is indeed one of the most competitive categories, you'll also be treated to some creative takes on the comfort food classic as well. Whether mac is paired with fancy toppings or is presented in a non-traditional form, one can expect to experience nirvana from this dreamy festivity.
Plus, this delicious throwdown at Cleveland Public Hall raises funds for an awesome cause.
WAGS 4 Kids (Working Animals Giving Service for Kids) is one of the coolest non-profit organizations around. They provide mobility and autism service dogs to local children throughout northeast and central Ohio. In 2018, the Mac 'N Cheese Throwdown raised more than $70,000!
