Locally, this collection of skyscrapers silhouetted against the horizon is a cherished sight… and it’s one that is often best admired from the area Cleveland Metroparks. One of the best places to spot the Cleveland skyline is Lookout Ridge in Parma, a gorgeous perch in one of the area’s loveliest reservations. Pack some trail mix and water to keep hydrated, because you’ll want to spend all day admiring this spot. Take a look:

West Creek Reservation is a lovely landscape tucked away in Parma, Ohio. Here, rocky gorges, richly forested trails, and scenic views are all part of the day-to-day.
No matter how many times you visit Lookout Ridge, its view of the Cleveland skyline is always a delight.

During the early spring, this 1.5-mile hike is rich with wildflowers and verdant growth.
This recently improved trail and overlook offer one of the finest views of the Cleveland skyline in the area. On clear days, it almost seems like you could reach out and touch the skyscrapers right in front of you.
The hike is part of the landscape of West Creek Reservation, a 326-acre living laboratory for those studying stormwater control.
The restoration of West Creek and the surrounding area was an initiative that helped this park return to its former glory. Now, every visit is breathtaking.
Like many reservations in the Cleveland Metroparks, West Creek had seen better days before its acquisition. Encroaching suburban housing, construction pollution, and more had taken a toll on the local landscape... but today, the gorgeous park is just as nature intended. Remember to leave nothing but footprints during your visit!
While the park has been open for nearly two decades, the improvements at Lookout Ridge are a fairly recent addition.
In 2019, the area was improved alongside several other Cleveland Metroparks trails. If you haven't paid it a recent visit to see the improvements, then this spot belongs on this year's Greater Cleveland bucket list.
No matter the season, the views from this spot absolutely dazzle.
You can find this hike near the intersection of W Ridgewood Drive and Route 176.
