There are many places that claim to host the world’s largest candy store. There’s one in Dubai that boasts this title, but it’s a mere 10,000 square feet in size. There are a few in the United States that boast a comparable claim, but each weighs in at under 30,000 square feet. The London M&M’s store considers itself to be the largest candy store in the world, but at 35,000 square feet, it’s still not the biggest. Not since 2015, at least. That’s the year that b.a. Sweetie Candy Company opened its new 40,000 square foot storefront, meaning the world’s largest candy store is in Cleveland. Isn’t that sweet?!
Once upon a time, local entrepreneurs began selling candy in bulk around 1950. Today, the business has grown into the biggest candy shop in the world.
Sweetie's is a familiar name to Clevelanders. For decades, it has specialized in serving up the finest selection of sweets anywhere in Ohio. The store has grown quite a bit over the years, moving from a 4,000-square-foot building when it opened to the public to the current size it occupies today.
At 40,000 square feet and boasting 4,500 different types of candy, this massive warehouse is almost guaranteed to tempt your sweet tooth.
It's filled from floor to ceiling with classic and modern sweets, chips, and goodies galore. There's something for everyone, from salty to sweet.

With more than $3 million worth of merchandise, there's no shortage of candies to choose from... including familiar, rare, old-fashioned, and unique candies.
Sweetie’s Soda Shoppe can seat 150 hungry patrons, and its open-concept design allows you to watch as your sundae, float, or any other kind of ice cream treat is prepared.
At the soda parlor, you can choose from over 200 flavors of soda and 36 flavors of homemade ice cream to create super sweet concoctions.
In addition to handmade ice cream, you can also top your creation with Sweeties Signature whip cream, which is made on-site daily. Try their curated selection of toppings for unbelievable flavor!
And during the warmer months, you'll love stopping by Sweetie's Golfland!
This candy warehouse is so massive that each trip unveils new surprises. Plus, an ever-evolving offering of supplies means all sorts of goodies await you.
