Okay, hear me out on this — High & Low Winery + Bistro is right off a busy state route, but the surrounding area is private wooded acres and farmland. In fact, it’s just ten minutes away from the Medina Sunflower Farm, so while this area wades into rural suburbia territory, you’ll surrounded by countryside views and charm. Views aside, it’s worth a trip to this winery in Medina, Ohio for the libations and decadent meals. It’s part bistro, part vineyard, and all vibes, so it’s well worth a little road trip from Cleveland!
To get to High & Low Winery + Bistro, you’ll likely turn off I-71 onto Route 18. Take it for just a few miles and you’ll reach your destination! Alternatively, you could take a more scenic route and head down a long path like Ridge Road from the city down through the country. The latter is especially pleasant if you’re looking for a casual weekend with surprising windshield views.
While you’re in the area, you might consider treating yourself with a visit to Lake Medina. It’s not too far off the beaten path, and it’s close enough to 71 for an easy extra stop.
