Welcome to Grobe Fruit Farm, a family-owned farm in Elyria that locals love... especially in the fall!
This farm got its start back around the turn of the century, and it has been lovingly maintained by the same family ever since. It was actually a dairy and potato farm in the beginning, but apples were introduced to the landscape in the 1920s. They've been one of the greatest draws ever since.
Here, fresh produce is offered from July through March... and fall means that some of the yummiest produce is ready to harvest.
Connecting with Grobe on Facebook is the best way to ensure you visit at the perfect time. They are active and share updates on all the lovely goodies being offered at their farm store.

...And it closes when the last of its cider has sold in the latest weeks of winter.
This farm and the flavors it produces have remained consistent for generations, which is a delight to locals looking to pass on the tradition to children and grandchildren. There's nothing like a warm glass of spiced cider in the winter, and there's nothing like picking out the perfect carving pumpkin at the farm in the fall.
Visitors rave about the service here! At the Farm Market, you'll find local produce, pies, candies, and all sorts of local deliciousness. Of course, you'll also be greeted by a smile, as the staff here is always friendly and helpful.
While you can also snag some of their produce at Buehler's, there's nothing quite like picking out the perfect pumpkin for carving at the farm.
The best way to enjoy farm-to-table dining is by supporting local farms, and Grobe is one of the area's finest producers. Safety and quality are two of Grobe's top priorities, so visitors can rest assured that they are getting food that's always fresh and always delicious.
And even if you miss your chance to visit the farm in the fall, its produce will still be available for months to come.
In the winter, apples, potatoes, cider, and more are still available for purchase. This place absolutely belongs on your bucket list... whether you make it out this season or next!
