The diversity of Cleveland’s many neighborhoods makes it an especially enchanting city. No matter where you are in The Land, there’s a little bit of culture hiding in plain sight. One of the best ways locals celebrate international culture is via the incredible restaurants that adorn Greater Cleveland like the gems they are.
Close your eyes and imagine sitting on the patio and sipping authentic German beers in the best location in the nation...
In the warmer months, Der Braumeister may treat guests to a movie on the patio. They've also celebrated Masskrugstemmen, Oktoberfest, and other German celebrations.
Longtime Clevelanders may remember Herzog’s occupying this location prior to the 1980's. In 1983, Roy and Lydia Hoertz, who met in the alpine hills of Germany, purchased the restaurant. The family's love story is immortalized in the warm embrace that every plate offers.

There is culture all throughout Cleveland, but the true extent of our diversity is best reflected in the delectable dishes that can be found throughout the city. If there’s one thing we Clevelanders know, it’s comfort food, and there’s a reason we love Der Braumeister.
