We have an excellent foodie scene in Cleveland but, gosh darn it, sometimes you can’t beat country-style cooking with farm-to-table ingredients. Here in Northeast Ohio, there are plenty of country restaurants populating our more rural stretches of countryside. Today, we’re going to look at seven farmhouse restaurants near Cleveland that are within an hour and a half’s drive from home. Is your stomach growling? It will be after you check out these delicious dining destinations.
1. The Farmer’s Table, 320 S Court St, Medina, OH 44256
Located inside the Medina Farmer's Exchange (which now boasts an atmosphere that's much like a small-scale West Side Market), The Farmer’s Table is exactly the type of restaurant you'd expect to find in a quaint and cozy city like Medina. Here, farm-to-table dining takes center stage. Armed with rustic vibes and fresh ingredients, this restaurant is known for indulgent dishes like garlic fries, cauliflower wings, pierogies, kielbasa, burgers, and more. Many of the ingredients they use can even be picked up in the on-site market!

Located inside The BottleHouse Brewery in Cleveland Heights, Farmer's Feast is a true urban gem... but its country-style offerings can't be beat. Brunch is a fan-favorite, but burgers and kebabs draw just as much excitement from enthusiastic patrons.
3. Berlin Farmstead, 4757 Township Rd 366, Berlin, OH 44610
Any meal that looks like one you'd eat at grandma's house is bound to be delicious. At Berlin Farmhouse, Amish-style comfort food is served up in generous helpings. In some respects, a visit to Wolf Creek Tavern feels a bit like stepping back in time. The old-school surroundings are cozy and welcoming, but there's also a lovely patio you can enjoy on warm days. There's so much to love about 24 Karrot Kitchen in Brecksville. Here, ingredients are sourced from local growers and producers, and there's a focus on gluten-free menu options.
