Greater Cleveland contains a splendid amount of history, but few historic buildings house the original businesses that opened in them. In a way, this is fantastic news for locals, as all sorts of unusual things have opened in truly unique places. From banks to fire stations, restaurants, and storefronts are opening in awesome old buildings. There’s nothing like dining in a place surrounded by history and great food, and this experience is best had at an old train depot in Greater Cleveland.
Editor’s Note: The Berea Depot unfortunately closed its doors in 2024. If you’re still looking for a dose of local train history, be sure to check out Berea Falls Scenic Overlook.
