Do you remember the charm of drive-in movies? Back in the day, cozying up under a blanket on the lawn next to the car was some of the greatest fun we knew. The giant outdoor screen and snacks were the best! Nowadays, of course, drive-ins are few and far between, but there are (thankfully) some places where the magic of outdoor movies can still be enjoyed. At Crocker Park’s annual Movies in the Park series, something magical takes place each Thursday at dusk. Gather your crew and some lawn chairs, because you won’t want to miss this family-friendly event.
Crocker Park is a bit like a miniature city, as it has restaurants, shopping, green spaces, residential areas, and everything in between.
Check out their calendar of events to see if any upcoming activities catch your eye. From farm markets to music in the park, there's almost always something fun taking place.

However, there's one annual experience that'll make you want to snag a seat and snack.
Movies in the Park takes place between June and September, highlighting movies that are rated G or PG (with one or two exceptions each year) for the whole family to enjoy.
At Movies in the Park, your favorite movies (including some made by giants like Disney, Warner Bros, Universal, and DreamWorks) appear on the big screen again.
The fun begins around dusk, which tends to fall around 9 p.m. during the movie-showing season.
Check out the Crocker Park website for this year's scheduled movies. The highest-rated movies are PG-13, but the majority are suitable for all ages... and there's something for everyone to enjoy on this year's schedule!
This is the perfect environment for a late-night picnic. Of course, there are plenty of places around Crocker Park to grab carryout, too!
There’s plenty of fun for the whole family at Crocker Park’s annual Movies in the Park series! This annual tradition is the perfect way to get out of the house while indulging in a budget-friendly experience. Have you attended Movies in the Park in previous years?
