If you’re in search of the best steakhouse in Cleveland, you truly don’t have to look far. Many will nod to long-standing suburban landmarks, but the truth is that Cleveland itself has its own landmarks worth bragging about. Hiding in the Warehouse District is one steakhouse with a bit of a focus on smaller, shareable plates and libations. If you’ve never been to Cleveland Chop, you might consider swinging by for lunch to experience this local landmark with less of a crowd.
Cleveland Chop is a mashup of a sports bar and steakhouse off of St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland.
This place can be casual or formal, depending on the company you bring. Many consider this destination to be the best steakhouse in Cleveland, though it opened somewhat recently in April of 2013.
This welcoming environment opened in the space of a former steakhouse (named, you guessed it, Cleveland ChopHouse) nearly a decade ago, and it has been coveted as a hang out ever since.
Don't let the similar names fool you -- if you remember ChopHouse, you'll be pleasantly surprised to hear that Cleveland Chop has a different approach.

Dinner here is, understandably, all the rage. With decadent options like bacon-wrapped shrimp, steaks, gnocchi, crispy asparagus, and so much more, it's no wonder many choose to indulge at the end of the day. But lunch is almost like a different world here.
This place opens at 11:30 most days, opening at noon on Saturdays and at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings... offering you a perfect opportunity to grab a snack!
The Turkey Reuben is a popular lunch item on the menu, and it's served up with a side of coleslaw, fries, white cheddar mash, or sweet potato fries (although those cost just a little bit more).
And during Sunday morning brunch, you can enjoy omelets, skillets, pancakes, and more.
Birthday parties, business events, networking events, and more will fit flawlessly into this space. Plus, for every event, you'll have an opportunity to enjoy chef specialties prepared just for your special occasion.
No matter what you decide to feast on, it'll surely be delicious at Cleveland Chop.
It’s no wonder this eatery is known as the best steakhouse in Cleveland! Have you ever visited Cleveland Chop? We’d love to hear about your experience!
