The landscape, incredible as it may be, somehow changes once a bit of vibrancy seeps into local leaves. If you crave the colors of fall, you are sure to love this one lake in our local national park.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is truly one of our area's most magnificent features.
The loveliest portions of the Cuyahoga Valley are preserved and maintained in this coveted national park. Unlike other national parks, the CVNP coexists with human development, as it is surrounded by small communities.

The park, which is made up of more than 32,500 acres, obtains an otherworldly beauty during the fall.
There are rumored to be more than 100 waterfalls in the Cuyahoga Valley, and some of the loveliest are easily accessible in the national park. Pictured here is Blue Hen Falls, a scenic destination that's especially beloved by families thanks to a trail that's fairly short and sweet.

Surrounded by conifers and deciduous trees, Horseshoe Pond becomes particularly vibrant in the autumn. With evergreens contrasting with shades of rust against a blue sky, you'll feel like you fell into a Claude Monet painting.
All sorts of critters reside in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park's acreage, and you may encounter a few during your visit.
