Nothing quite compares to visiting a winery in the cooler months. Cozy, welcoming, and friendly, these pretty places tend to feel even more so when it’s cold outside and you’re in the midst of a tasting. Many also offer warm comfort foods in addition to their wine list, allowing you to satisfy your tummy with all sorts of treats. The most beautiful wineries are set amidst a scenic landscape, and the most scenic part of Northeast Ohio is undoubtedly Amish Country. While there are a variety of wineries in this area, one stands out from the rest. Are you feeling bubbly yet? You certainly will after you visit this fairy tale destination.
Located at 5934 Old Route 39 Northwest in Dover, this wine-colored destination is right in the heart of Amish Country. Its beautiful landscape alone draws in a variety of visitors, and they fall in love as soon as they start sampling wine.
Established in 1980, this gorgeous winery was named for the bright stream that carves through the property.
This November, you can't miss An Artful Holiday Affair! on the 9th or Holiday Market at The Toolshed on the 20th. Both are incredible opportunities to shop and stock up for the holidays.
The Winemaker's Barn and The Toolshed are the venues for many events and weddings, and they are almost too quaint and stunning for words.
There’s a lot to love about Amish Country, and it’s worth the trip from Cleveland in every season. This winery, however, should definitely top your bucket list. Who are you going to take with you? Tag them in the comments and let’s start planning a road trip!
