On September 1 through 3, Burke Lakefront Airport will take your imagination closer to the heavens than ever before.

The event is so big that locals can see airborne performances from all over the city, but the true fun takes place on site.
While the aerobatic teaser shouldn't be missed, you'll also want to take part in the Civic Welcome Ceremony and get up close and personal with aircraft throughout on-the-ground awesomeness at the USAF Performance Lab and Dronewerx display.
Saturday will bring the first annual performance from the Shockwave Jet Truck.
The explosive fun doesn't stop there! You'll also see fly-bys, aerobatic performances, and the U.S. Air Force A-10 Warthog Fly-By silhouetted against a wall of fire.
