When we speak of Hamilton County, we are often referring to our hometown of Cincinnati.
But there is another Hamilton County not too far from here and it's actually a wonderful place to visit! Hamilton County, Indiana is located just north of Indianapolis and has so much to offer visitors of all ages.
Winter is a great time to visit the area, especially during the holiday season.
Many of the county's attractions come to life with lights, events, and Christmas cheer. The Carmel Christkindlmarkt, held from mid-November through December, is a favorite German Christmas market that is one of the best in the country.

After you've ice skated and shopped at the Christmas Market, consider a ride on the The Nickel Plate Express.
