The most popular area of the park is the Devou Memorial Overlook, which as you can see from the photo below, offers the most spectacular views of our city. There are picnic tables and benches for you to take in the view and this area is open from dawn until dusk.
In addition to the views, Devou is home to several attractions, including an 18-hole golf course. At the clubhouse, there is also a bar and grill that is open to the public daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Also found at the Golf & Event Center is DevouCycle. This bike rental spot is one of the only adaptive bike rental services in the area and offers fun for the whole family, as well as a great way to see the park.
You can easily spend an entire day at Devou Park, especially with a stop at the Behringer-Crawford Museum. This large, historic building is home to three floors of fascinating transportation history that is also a fun stop for all ages.
Adjacent to the museum is the NaturePlay at BCM. This is a unique playground that is a can't miss spot for young visitors. The park has many other playgrounds scattered about, as well.
If you want to experience even more nature, try out one of many paved or nature trails throughout the park. There's also a fishing lake and plenty of places to relax.
For more action, check out some of the best mountain biking trails in our area. There are more than eight miles for you to experience, and keep in mind that these can be quite challenging.
