So many longtime businesses in Cincinnati go through transformations from time to time to stay current with their customers. This may be as simple as some new paint and decor or it may mean a total overhaul and reinvention. On a street corner along Wasson Road in Oakley sits what many call The E. The Establishment has been around for decades and most know it as a dive bar (that had a stellar grilled cheese sandwich). The bar was bought last year and this summer it has been undergoing a transformation into a family-friendly hangout in Cincinnati. It is now reopened and serves up tasty BBQ, great drinks, and has a whole new look and feel.
The E is now a family-friendly hangout in Cincinnati, but it will continue on its tradition as a bar and gathering spot for a more lively crowd in the evenings. Did you go to The E when it was a dive? Have you been since it opened with a new look? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
