Spring In Ohio
What are some things to do in Ohio in the spring?
When Ohio is blessed with its first warm spring days there is almost a visible sigh of relief from winter. Here are some of our favorite things to do in Ohio in the spring that allow us to enjoy the beauty of this delightful season:
- Cincinnati Nature Center, Milford, OH: Spring in Cincinnati is always much looked forward to. If you are looking for a nice spring nature walk just outside of the city, head to the Cincinnati Nature Center. At Rowe Woods, you'll find some lovely hiking trails where you can enjoy a wildflower hike and maybe even a picnic. With small pads, creeks, and big fields of flowers, springtime in Cincinnati couldn't be more lovely.
- Krohn Conservatory at Eden Park, Cincinnati, OH: Just a few minutes from downtown Cincinnati there is a beautiful butterfly house. This gorgeous spring destination gives you a chance to find your zen surrounded by colorful delicate butterflies. Keep an eye out for the Butterfly Show each spring. It is a themed event where you can enjoy butterflies from all around the world. The Krohn Conservatory is one of our favorite places to visit in the spring to enjoy a warm sunny day.
- Ault Park Cherry Grove, Cincinnati, OH: Another Cincinnati favorite is the beautiful cherry grove at Ault Park. Early spring is one of our favorite times of the year because the cherry trees are so bold and fragrant. Pack a picnic lunch and wander among the trees until you find the perfect spot - it won't be difficult, the whole area is gorgeous. Late March or early April is the best time to catch the cherry trees in full bloom.
