Events in downtown Cincinnati are always a good time and there are several throughout the year. There aren’t as many gatherings in the city during the colder months, but in January 2020 that will change! Snow Banks at The Banks will kick off a new year and decade in the Queen City with a new attraction during weekends in January. Snow Banks in Cincinnati is an exciting new venture and we can’t wait to snow tube and sled ride right in the heart of downtown.
Snow can be hit or miss during winter in Cincinnati, but this January you can experience it every single weekend downtown.
A new event, Snow Banks at The Banks, will take place every Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday in January. Coming off the huge success of BLINK Cincinnati throughout downtown, locals can now experience another unique event in the heart of the Queen City.
Snow Banks in Cincinnati will stretch from the SkyStar Wheel through The Banks area.
Tickets for the event are $5 per person and can be purchased through the link below. A favorite feature of Snow Banks is bound to be the Frisch’s Big Boy Snow Tube Run, a 50-foot-long snow tube ramp near the wheel.

Bars and restaurants throughout The Banks will offer specials and winter-themed items.
And if you love snow, you'll love taking a selfie in a blizzard, created every half-hour during the event. Even if it's not snowing in Cincinnati, it will be a winter wonderland downtown.
You can also snuggle up with a horse carriage ride, take a ride on the SkyStar Wheel (for an additional charge), and the kids will love the Cyclones hockey skill challenges.
And adults will love the ice bar with wintry drinks and s'mores.
The fun doesn't end there. Check out ice sculpture carvings on Crosley Terrace at Great American Ball Park, relax with a cocktail at the Frontgate Snow Lounge, and take time to walk around to soak in all the wintertime fun.
There will also be live music at Moerlein Lager House, which is always a lively spot during events at The Banks.
January can be a little dull after the excitement of the holidays, but now we have Snow Banks in Cincinnati to look forward to and to making new winter memories.
