Cincinnati’s restaurant scene is nothing short of delicious and it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all of the fantastic new options. We love our classic diners and longstanding eateries in the Queen City, but we’re always willing to welcome a new delicious spot with open arms and hungry bellies. OTR is the source of several new restaurants in Cincinnati over the past few years and if you have yet to try Sacred Beast, there’s no time like right this second. This newer restaurant with the peculiar name and the incredible menu has quietly become one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati, new or old, and it’s ready for you to visit.
Sacred Beast sits on a street corner in OTR where a parking lot once was. The transformation is more than physical, as for a little over a year now, guests have walked through these doors to enjoy some of the best food in Cincinnati.
While the food gets the most attention here, the ambiance and service are also mentioned in nearly every 5-star review (of which there are several). Sacred Beast has the charm of a classic diner, but in a modern space with an innovative menu.
Sacred Beast likes to say they represent simple food that's taken seriously — and that is the perfect description of their menu. They offer a single or double cheeseburger, but this diner favorite is so indulgent, you'll soon have a new favorite burger in the city.
The menu also includes favorites such as deviled eggs, poutine, meatballs, and pork rinds. Any of these will treat your taste buds and leave you with cravings for a return visit. The chef knows how to work ingredients so that you get to enjoy a flavorful meal, without going over the top.
Lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch are all wonderful at Sacred Beast and you'll want to go with at least one other person who will share a number of items on the menu with you. And not because the portions are small, but because you will want to try as much as you possibly can.
If you visit during brunch on the weekend, or if you have a breakfast craving anytime of day, they have a section of the menu (served all day) that's perfect. They claim that these pancakes are the best you'll ever have, and we highly doubt you'll be able to argue otherwise.
The drink menu at Sacred Beast is just as flavorful and again puts a twist on all the classics. Choose from a number of cocktails, mocktails, wine, and coffee to start and even end your meal.
It's a big claim to call something the best, but it's easy to do once you've tasted the food at Sacred Beast. If visiting during a popular time, it is best to make a reservation. Don't miss out on a chance to savor a meal at this newer Cincinnati restaurant that has quietly become one of the best of the best!
