When you think of areas of Cincinnati that are true dining destinations, you may think of downtown, Over-the-Rhine, or maybe your favorite neighborhood restaurant comes to mind. You may not think of a fun-filled park as a spot where you can take your pick of a number of delicious eateries. However, thanks to the development and growth of Summit Park in Blue Ash, this unique property has become so much more than a playground and wide open space. While it definitely has those things, this one park in Cincinnati is also chock full of amazing places to eat and has become an ideal gathering spot in our city.
If for some reason you have yet to visit Summit Park, this large property is located in Blue Ash on the land of the former airport. The master plan for the park is quite impressive and has already made a big impact on the area.
The park currently includes wide open space, walking paths, a unique playground, and a one-of-a-kind pavilion that includes a large, covered patio and four restaurants. The idea is that you can come to enjoy the park and all it offers without needing to leave when you want to grab a meal or even a drink, snack, or sweet treat.
One of the restaurants you'll find at Summit Park is Senate, which also has a popular location in OTR.
Senate is known for its gourmet hot dogs, which are the perfect meal after playing around the park. If you love the food at Senate, but perhaps aren't a fan of the smaller space in OTR, you'll love the large interior of the Blue Ash location.

Brown Dog Cafe is another delicious spot at the park that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's an upscale dining experience with an eclectic menu and a modern, yet inviting atmosphere.
