If you were born and raised in Cincinnati, you’ll likely agree that we have the best hometown. It’s easy to take our city for granted, but when you take a step back and think about all Cincinnati has to offer, it’s also easy to see why people would want to live here. Even if you have moved away, it’s a common occurrence to eventually find your way back. Here are eight reasons living in Cincinnati is the best and everyone should move here.
Cincinnati has it all when it comes to beautiful scenery. Thanks to our many hills, you can catch a glimpse of the Queen City from a number of different vantage points, taking in our stunning skyline and historic neighborhoods. Sure, we're known for our Cincinnati-style chili and we have some great local chains that have made us famous nationwide, but there's so much more than that! We have every type of restaurant imaginable, with new ones opening constantly. You can have a greasy breakfast at a diner, enjoy classic French cuisine with a skyline view, and chow down on the best fried chicken and comfort food... and that's just the beginning!

Cincinnati is lucky in that you can experience several top-notch sports right here in the Queen City. We collectively cheer on the Reds, Bengals, Cyclones, and (our new favorite) FC Cincinnati, but even our local college and high school teams get tons of love. Sporting events are a good time in Cincinnati and it's always a fun atmosphere, no matter which sport you decide to attend.
Cincinnati is in a wonderful location where you can easily get to a wide variety of activities and landscapes in a short amount of time. You can take a day trip to scenic lakes, deep caves, and historic battlefields, all within a couple of hours. If you venture a little further, we have marvelous mountains and the sandy beaches of the Great Lakes not too far away.

Or, at least almost every weekend. Cincinnati loves to celebrate and festivals - from small church gatherings to massive streets-filled events - are our favorite way to do so. Many of these festivals revolve around food, and they're all a great way to let loose in the Queen City.
Cincinnati has done a wonderful job at maintaining and restoring the beautiful features of its past. We have museums and landmarks that have withstood the test of time, but even just walking through the streets of downtown is to walk through a history book, if you take your time and pay attention to your surroundings.
