Cincinnati is known as a river town, but it’s also well known that the Ohio River does not offer any beaches in the Tristate area. We are a landlocked city, which means no nearby coastline, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sink your toes in the sand this summer and without a long drive. There are a few scenic lakes near our city that offer a stretch of sand and gentle waters that are perfect for a hot, sunny day. East Fork State Park in Clermont County has what is likely the oldest public beach near Cincinnati, and you’ll want to visit for a day of timeless fun.
East Fork State Park, just east of Cincinnati, has a lot to offer, and its stretch of sandy beach is perfect for timeless fun in the sun. Have you spent time in this historic park near the Queen City? Do you enjoy a day on its beach? Let us know in the comments!
