We shared some of our favorite family-owned diners, and even we managed to overlook this neighborhood cafe in Norwood. Indian Mound Cafe is a charming cafe by day and a vibrant gathering spot at night, and it’s definitely a place everyone in Cincinnati should try.
The Indian Mound Cafe has actually been a staple in Norwood for decades, but it's now under new ownership and it's a great time to check it out.
This corner cafe is a relaxed, family-friendly restaurant during the day and has a more lively pub scene at night. There's something for everyone at this local gathering spot.

Under new ownership and management since this past fall, Indian Mound Cafe made a few changes, but maintained the same laid-back atmosphere and classic, cafe-style menu.
You'll find a few people at the bar, a family enjoying lunch, and a bunch of friends hanging out and catching up. There are dart boards, games on the TVs, and plenty of friendly faces to welcome you for your first visit.
They also have a few beers on tap, many local and domestic options by can or bottle, and fresh, made-to-order deli sandwiches that always hit the spot.
Always check for the daily specials, as they are sure to be a highlight.
