As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. If you live in Cincinnati, you may not see a reason to visit a bed and breakfast in the area. But the truth is, there are bound to be parts of town that you’ve never really experienced, and what better way to check them out than to spend the night and live like a local? In the charming town of Milford, one such local has brought a 140-year-old home back to life, and it happens to be right in the middle of a variety of activities and destinations. The Old Milford Inn Bed and Breakfast is brand new and is the perfect getaway for both Cincinnatians and those traveling through, and gives us a great reason to explore a new area of town.
The Old Milford Inn stands on the corner of Garfield Avenue and High Street in Milford, which is the perfect location for a bed and breakfast. The restored home was once a boarding house and it is now a lovely three bedroom Inn, ready to welcome guests.
Owner Cynthia Sooy already owned the home and realized it would be the ideal spot for overnight accommodations. She has created an inviting inn that gives guests enough privacy, while also bringing people together with comfortable gathering areas and a delicious breakfast.
The Inn is decorated with a mixture of antiques, handmade items, and more modern furnishings. It's comfortable, yet eclectic, and cozy, yet refreshing. Essentially it is everything you would want in an overnight stay.
One room has a queen bed, one a full, and one two twin beds. Whether you're visiting from another side of town, in the Cincinnati area on business, or using the bike trail, there's an ideal space for you at the Old Milford Inn.
While staying at the Inn, you'll have to save plenty of time to explore all that Milford has to offer.
There are shops, restaurants, and other activities within walking distance in the utterly charming stretch of Old Milford. If you've never been through this area, you will fall in love with the quaint ice cream shop, coffee shops, French bistro, and antique shops.

The Inn is also perfectly situated along the Little Miami Scenic Trail, which will likely be the source of many of the Inn's guests.
Many travel on this trail for a couple of days and need a place to stay. Old Milford Inn recognized this and has a carriage house for safely storing bikes, and hopes to provide anything cyclists may need while taking a break from the trail.
The Old Milford Inn Bed and Breakfast is a welcome addition to the city of Milford, and to the entire Cincinnati area.
Allow yourself to discover a new area of town, or perhaps take to the trail yourself that includes an overnight at this historic home. You'll find that it's a new ideal getaway in our city, with plenty of charm, hospitality, and comfort.
If you haven’t spent much time in Milford, then spend a delightful night at this new B&B and see all it has to offer. You may be surprised at how fun a “staycation” in Cincinnati can be!
