We have several places in the Cincinnati area that are filled with fun for all ages. You may or may not realize that we actually are home to the world’s largest train display, which can be found just a short drive from downtown. Entertrainment Junction is best described as an indoor theme park that will take you back in time, entertain you, and teach you about the history of the railroad. There’s also plenty of extra fun for the kids, and enough allure to make a visit to this Cincinnati gem a worthy trip for everyone.
Located in West Chester, right off of 75, Entertrainment Junction is a world-class destination that is actually several displays, museums, play spaces, and parks in one.
It is well known as the world's largest train display, which is impressive in and of itself, but Entertrainment Junction offers even more and plenty of fun for everyone. When you step through the doors of the "train station," you'll step back in time to a historic town, complete with brick road and old street lights. The entrance area of the museum also has a cafe, gift shop, rooms for parties, and entrances to all of the attractions.

When you enter the beginning of the train display, prepare to be amazed at the size and scale of what you see. The display is arranged by period, so you'll literally walk through history as you wind through mountains, farmland, cities, and towns that are filled with miniature trains and other vehicles, people, and buildings.
Once you've made your way through the display at eye level, make sure to head up the stairs (or elevator) to get a bird's eye view. It's only then that you'll see how Entertrainment Junction is indeed home to the largest display in the world.
The attention to detail within each scene is incredible and you'll always discover something new with each visit.
Children will love the whimsical and magical aspects of the trains, while adults can appreciate the time, talent, and research that went into making these displays not only accurate but wonderfully appealing.
There are little museums within the large space and one of them is the popular Coney Island display.
Head up the stairs to see this playful set up that includes working rides, roller coaster, games, and festive visitors. This area is so charming and equally impressive as the displays below.
The youngest visitors to Entertrainment Junction may not appreciate the history of the trains, but that doesn't mean they won't have a blast.
During the warmer months, children can ride an outdoor train around the exterior of the museum. The ride is taken indoors during the winter, and there is also a large play area that has an indoor playground, small train ride, train tables, and hands-on displays.

For a separate fee, you can enter the other main attraction within the museum's walls — A-Maze-N Funhouse.
This large funhouse is designed like an old-time circus midway, so it fits in perfectly with the nostalgic trains. It's another layer of fun to experience as a family, with attractions like a mirror maze and a step into outer space.
Entertrainment Junction will celebrate its 10-year anniversary in October of 2018, so if you haven't visited yet, now is the time!
