It can be heartbreaking to watch a beloved, historic building to fall vacant and into disrepair. Unfortunately, this happens from time to time, so it’s always wonderful news when someone plans to come in, preserve the building, and give it a new life – all while maintaining its original character. This is exactly what happened when the Clifton Public Library moved to a new location. Its former spot on Ludlow Avenue is now a wonderful restaurant named Gaslight Bar & Grill, and this library bar in Cincinnati is every book nerd’s paradise.
Gaslight Bar & Grill is a wonderful addition to one of Cincinnati’s most cherished streets. Ludlow has long been alive with diversity and character, and this restaurant that took over the former library is just a new kind of paradise. Have you eaten at this newer Cincinnati dining destination? Did you visit the former library often? Share your experience with us in the comments!
