Lucius Q is a laid-back BBQ joint with appealing rustic touches, mouthwatering food, and a fun atmosphere you may never want to leave.

Our city was named in honor of Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, a Roman aristocrat and statesman. This man may have been legendary, but he was still just a regular guy, which is just one reason Lucius Q chose him to represent their new endeavor. They hope that their eatery and BBQ will also earn legendary status, and they're off to a good start.
Lucius Q just opened in March 2018 in the rapidly changing neighborhood of Pendleton. Perhaps you've never heard of this historic area near downtown and OTR, and if that's the case, you really need to check it out.

Lucius Q is one of many additions to the neighborhood that are making it a great Cincinnati destination for incredible food and drinks. The atmosphere of this BBQ joint perfectly blends the history of the building, neighborhood, and city with the modern, industrial aesthetic. The interior is large and inviting, while the outdoor patio is the absolute perfect spot to relax and enjoy their menu and drinks.
As great as the ambiance is at Lucius Q, the food is the real highlight. They smoke their meats low and slow over oak and cherry wood, and serve them with traditional southern sides.

You can choose to order their meats by the 1/4 lb. or on a sandwich, both of which come with all of the fixings. The sides pair perfectly with any of the meats, and you'll definitely want to try the collard greens and queso corn. Both are unique and utterly flavorful. The drink offerings at the bar at Lucius Q are also impressive, so be sure to check that out while you're there.
Lucius Q was opened in the spirit of Cincinnati and its namesake Cincinnatus, and it's already earned a spot in the hearts and bellies of many locals.
