There’s something extra special about a neighborhood hangout that feels like an extension of the community. Many of Cincinnati’s neighborhoods have such a place, and some lucky ones even have several. If you love quaint, local eateries, shops, and businesses, then you will likely fall in love with Loveland. Even after a devastating fire in the heart of town, this community has rebuilt and is now better than ever. The hub of Loveland offers many local spots, including aptly named Hometown Cafe. This place is all about showing love to the people of Loveland and anyone else who stops by and its location right along the trail can’t be beaten.
Hometown Cafe is located in the heart of Loveland and opened in early 2019.
The owners grew up in Loveland and continue to live in this charming community. They thought (and locals agreed) that Loveland could use a cafe like this right along the popular bike trail.
The Loveland Bike Trail, or the Little Miami Scenic Trail as it is actually called, is a wonderful feature of this area of Cincinnati.
You will find many local businesses right off the trail, including Hometown Cafe. This stop on the trail is so close and convenient, it even has its own paved walkway that connects the trail to the restaurant's patio.

Hometown Cafe was designed to embody its name, and it definitely does.
The interior is cozy, welcoming, and ideal for relaxing, getting some work done, or meeting up with friends. They even offer a meeting space upstairs and you can rent the entire building to host your own special event.
They serve locally roasted Deeper Roots coffee, as well as a number of pastries and other treats. Their menu is a wonderful combination of indulgent and health conscience items.
The fresh smoothies are a favorite and taste especially great after time on the bike trail.
From a veggie option to one piled with meat, they have something for every appetite. They also have ready-to-go lunch choices such as salads, sandwiches, and snacks.
You can view the entire menu on the cafe's website, linked below.
