As Cincinnati weather tends to do, it’s pretty much gone from winter straight into summer, which means everyone is ready to hit the pool. The problem is, many pools do not open up until Memorial Day weekend, and several of them are not open to the general public. But, if you’re anxious to jump in and start your summer off right, then we have just the place. Ziegler Park had a grand reopening last year and grand is really the best way to describe it. This downtown park, pool, and splash park has it all and the pool is ready and waiting for you to have a fun-filled day in Cincinnati.
Cincinnati has several major water parks throughout the city, but there's nothing quite like the neighborhood pool. Last summer Ziegler Park reopened after a major renovation and the amazing pool is definitely a welcome addition.
Thanks to a heater, this neighborhood pool is already open on weekday mornings for lap swim and on the weekends for public swim. That means you can head there now and get a head start on summer.
You can choose to either pay a daily rate when you visit or purchase a season pass. You can also gift a season pass, which is a great thing to keep in mind. Daily rates for the pool are $2 for children 16 and under and Seniors 55 and over, and $4 for adults ages 17-54. Season Passes are sold in limited number each year and information on pricing can be found here.

The large pool is divided into three main sections, each with features that were chosen specifically to make the water welcoming for all.
The deep end has a diving board and climbing wall that curves slightly over the water. There is also a middle section with five regulation 25-meter lanes and a zero-depth entry shallow end that is ideal for beginning swimmers.
The playground is also imaginative and welcoming and provides a great break from splashing around in the pool or on the sprayground.

With accessible restrooms, showers, concessions, and plenty of fun to be had at the pool and the park, Ziegler Park is the place to be as the temperatures rise. Plan a fun-filled day at this neighborhood pool, right in the heart of Cincinnati.
