With so many unique dining options in Cincinnati, it would be easy to enjoy a tasty and one-of-a-kind dining experience every night of the week. Since most of us spread these experiences out and are always looking for ideas, here’s a new one that you may not know about. Ladder 19 is located on Short Vine, adjacent to UC. Although it may be known as a college hang out spot, this unique firehouse restaurant in Cincinnati is one of the coolest places to dine and the food is worth a try as well.

But that doesn't mean only students are allowed to visit! This firehouse restaurant has a lot to offer all ages and the food is as great as the themed atmosphere. Also, if you haven't been to this area in awhile, you should definitely check out the drastic changes it's undergone over the last few years.
As you've already guessed, Ladder 19 is a firehouse-themed restaurant and there is evidence of that all over the interior and exterior.
The bar is a great spot to relax and grab a drink and watch the game. If you'd like to visit with kids or avoid the college crowds, just go during the week (college night is Thursday, FYI), or even during the summer.
Many consider Ladder 19 to be a bar, but the menu proves it is also a delicious restaurant. It has a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and weekend brunch items that will satisfy your hunger. There are a lot of worthy choices on the menu, including the burgers, but also be sure to order the white chicken chili, which is a surprising fan favorite.
Lunch and dinner are great times to visit Ladder 19, but weekend brunch is also a fun way to try it for the first time.
