Cincinnati is a town that loves its sports teams. We shout “Who Dey” (even when they’re losing) and we anxiously count down to Opening Day in the spring. We even welcome a brand new soccer team with open arms and sold-out games. But what team in the Queen City consistently has a winning record and offers games that are filled with fun and excitement? A Cincinnati Cyclones game may just be the most underrated sporting experience in our city, so if you haven’t already, plan a trip to a game and have a blast.
The Cincinnati Cyclones, established in 1990, have been around for 30 years.
They played their first games at Cincinnati Gardens, which was fairly recently demolished. They now play at Heritage Bank Center (Formerly U.S. Bank Arena) and have been there for years. But as a winning team in Cincinnati, hopefully, you already know all of this!
While we are lucky to offer so many sporting experiences in the Queen City, there is nothing quite like a Cincinnati Cyclones game.
The tried and true fans of the team are just as passionate as the guy that dresses up in full makeup and costume for every Bengals game. When you go to a game, you can expect plenty of traditional cheers and chants that you'll quickly catch onto.

The Cyclones mascot, appropriately named Twister, makes his way all over the arena during a game.
He's great at interacting with fans and he is not the only character you'll see during a game. There are many themed nights throughout the season where you will find Marvel heroes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol characters, and more.
There are often chances for young fans to get out on the ice between periods and there is always something to watch and experience during the game. Do keep in mind that these games are loud and often include pyrotechnics. The Cyclones do offer sensory-friendly games, just be sure to check the schedule, linked below.
You can expect a high level of excitement throughout the game, especially from the players.
And with a season that is already fairly long, there are plenty of chances to catch a game. They are also much more affordable than other sporting events — and be sure to check for deals like $1 hot dogs.
If you've lived in Cincinnati for a while and have yet to go to a Cyclones game, add it to your list of things to do this year.
And if you're a tried and true Cincinnati sports fan and just want to see a winning game, your chances are pretty good at a Cyclones game.
A Cincinnati Cyclones Game may not be as talked about throughout the city, but it also may just be the most fun you’ll have at a (winning) sporting event all year long.
