Food trucks are not a new concept in Cincinnati, in fact they are some of the best places to grab a bite to eat in the city. The wonderful, yet sometimes frustrating, thing about food trucks is that they are mobile so when you get a craving for that epic mac & cheese you once had, it can be difficult to track down. Well, there is now a Queen City destination where you can be sure to always find a variety of tasty food trucks and it’s conveniently located just minutes from downtown. Cove Food Park is a food truck park in Cincinnati that is similar to a food court, but without the chain fast food and crowded mall atmosphere. It doesn’t get cooler than this food truck park on the river and you can eat your heart out on some of the best grub the city has to offer.
Cove Food Park is a recent addition to the unique dining scene in Cincinnati.
It was only a matter of time until something like this was created, as Cincinnati offers so many outstanding food trucks. These trucks now have a place to gather regularly and serve up their food to hungry guests, right along the river and Kellogg Avenue.
If you're familiar with Rivertowne Marina and this stretch of road between downtown and 275, you likely already know where to find the park.
Your first sign that you have arrived is the iconic Jennie Wade Concession Boat, shown above, which acts as an anchor for the food truck park. Here you'll find any essentials you may need, as well as a deck to enjoy your meal. The views from this spot are pretty amazing as well.

And then surrounding the Jennie Wade are a variety of food trucks that change daily, so you have plenty of reasons to visit more than once.
You can find out which trucks will be at the park by following along on Facebook, linked below, or checking the calender here. Your favorite is bound to make an appearance at some point and it's an opportunity to try something new.

Each day, Wednesday - Sunday, you can expect to find 3-5 food trucks at the park during lunchtime and 5-8 trucks during dinner hours.
With this great location, a stop here is ideal before a concert at Riverbend, a lunch break from downtown, or for a meal before or after time on the water with Rivertowne Marina. It's basically perfect for anyone who is hungry and wants something delicious.
This burger, called the Squeezy Cheesy from Grist Bistro, includes a "cheese skirt" that makes you wonder why everyone doesn't do this with their burgers. You'll find everything at these food trucks from other sandwiches, to BBQ, tacos, desserts, drinks, and more.
With the Jennie Wade right there, you can pick up your drink of choice and enjoy it with your meal.
Cove Food Park does have a beer/wine license, so that means there is a strict policy of no outside food or drink. With so many mouthwatering options, you won't want to do that anyway.
Along with the deck off of the little riverboat, there is a large tent with picnic tables to enjoy your food truck meal al fresco.
Cove Food Park is great for families, meeting up with a friend or a group of friends, or they even rent the area out for private events. And of course you are always able to take your food to go if that is what works best for you.
Every food truck lover in the Queen City has been waiting for a dining destination like this to pop up in our city.
