With the Christmas season beginning earlier and earlier each year, it’s not uncommon to see Halloween skeletons hung up next to the ornaments in your favorite store. Fall and winter holidays all seem to blend together these days, and Cincinnati’s scariest destination is taking this concept to a whole new level. If you love all of the haunted attractions around town in September and October and are sad to see them replaced with Christmas light displays, then you are in luck this year!

The Dent Schoolhouse is opening back up this weekend – on December 7th and 8th – to host its first “A Christmas Nightmare” haunted event. This haunted holiday attraction in Cincinnati is definitely a new, unique concept and brings a little extra flair to the season.

It may seem a bit odd to find a haunted house in December, but there are plenty of excited patrons who are thrilled to hear that the Dent Schoolhouse will host its first annual haunted attraction this year. The popular haunted schoolhouse on Harrison Avenue will reopen this weekend only with a whole new (horrifying) Christmas theme.

The Christmas haunted house will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight each night and tickets are already on sale. Since this is its first year and it is the only attraction of its kind in our city, you can expect crowds, but don't let that deter you from checking it out!
