A pizza joint is, by nature, a laid back and comfortable spot to grab some food and socialize with friends and family. Cincinnati is home to several of these establishments and the one we are highlighting today is really a must-try in the Queen City. Mac’s on the Pike is appropriately located on Wooster Pike and is a part of the Mac’s Pizza family which includes a few other area pizza pubs. But we happen to think Mac’s on the Pike has a special quality and that you’ll really love the laid back charm of this particular Cincinnati pizza joint.
Mac's Pizza Pub all started thanks to a local Cincinnatian who loves pizza. The first location in Clifton is well-known, but today we are heading to the spot where Fairfax meets Mariemont and Mac's on the Pike.
Mac's on the Pike is a relaxed, welcoming restaurant that is often filled with guests who live in the neighborhood, as well as those who have heard that their pizza is incredible. And it doesn't stop with the pizza. Their menu is diverse and delicious and both the indoor and outdoor atmospheres are inviting.
The interior of Mac's on the Pike feels like a combination of a sports bar and the fancy basement of your cool uncle.
The restaurant is spacious enough for large groups (it's a great place to host a party!), but is still very comfortable if you want to sit at the bar, eat pizza, and watch the game. It's a social place where everyone is welcome and it's especially lively on Monday Pizza Madness nights and Trivia nights.

But the real reason people find their way to Mac's is the pizza.
Mac's has an experienced chef who has perfectly designed several standout pizzas and other menu items. The Chicago Gyro Pizza and the Mac Attack are both must try's and they even have Vegan and gluten free options. Aside from the creativity, it's the freshness of the ingredients that sets Mac's apart as they make their dough and shred their cheese in house daily.
If you'd like something other than pizza, Mac's can satisfy any craving you may be having.
Their burgers are phenomenal, as are the wings, tater tots, salads, and various other menu offerings. They have a great selection of drinks, as well. Basically, you will not leave hungry or thirsty... or wishing you had gone somewhere else.
Mac's on the Pike is a local gem of a pizza joint that you should definitely check out if you haven't already.
