Of course that is the goal of these properties that make green space a priority and give us easy access to wooded trails, fresh air, wildflowers, wildlife, and more. One of the lesser known parks within the system is Caldwell Nature Preserve. This acreage is unique in that it offers incredible old growth forest and over three miles of hiking trails in Cincinnati so you can explore it. Escape to this natural oasis in the heart of our city for rest and relaxation under the trees.
Caldwell Nature Preserve is located on North Bend Road, in an area you may not expect to find a beautiful old growth forest.
Thankfully, this property has been preserved for us to enjoy today. It offers easy hiking trails, one of which is even paved, and an escape into nature that is sure to provide relaxation.
Caldwell is special, thanks to its old-growth forest and variety of beautiful scenery.
And the 3 1/2 miles of hiking trails in Cincinnati are ideal for exploring it. These trails are well kept and many spots even include new bridges for easy access.
